Tips on getting into skin care industry?
I’m very interested in formulating skin care products; creams lotions etc and have been making those in my current work (pharmacy). I’ve tried applying those entry-level jobs at some skin care companies to no success. What’s wrong? Why is it so hard to get into this industry? Anyone with any tips on getting my foot into d door? Courses I need to do or anything? Thanks heaps.
If you have normal skin, liquid foundation will give you a dewy finish, but some can cause breakuts. I recommend a mineral foundation, and use a good concealer (Amazing Concealer from Sephora) to cover any blemishes! If u prefer liquid foundation, I recommend Almay Truly Lasting, Rimmel 25 hour, LAN come Te int Idol.
For skin care, use a gentle cleanser on your face twice daily, and unless you have acne, don’t use an acne cleanser. Ceta phil is a very good gentle cleanser. Also, Moisturize your face, and put on sunscreen EVERY DAY even if its not sunny…this will prevent wrinkles. For foundation, use a stippling brush or your fingers for liquid types. I also recommend curling your lashes b4 mascara, an highlight the inner corners of your eyes, your brow bone, your cupids bow and the center of your lids with white eyeliner, and then blend w/ your finger. This is very effective.
